Team Södermöre

Team Södermöre was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Team Södermöre, 93 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Team Södermöre could be found in Group 12 together with Peninsula Thunder, Vaksala SK and Hittarps IK 2. Team Södermöre continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Järla IF with 0-6. In the Final, Järla IF won over Scandia United SA and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Team Södermöre comes from Ljungbyholm which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ljungbyholm does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Möre BK, Madesjö IF, Kristianopels GOIF, Mörbylånga GoIF, IFK Kalmar and Färjestadens GoIF).
