Ale United

Ale United was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Ale United, 207 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Ale United could be found in Group 14 together with Gimonäs Umeå IF, Sædalen and Space/Ordin. Ale United continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against TSV Uesen with 5-7. In the Final, Brazilian FC won over Runar, IL and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Ale United also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/16 Final in B14 Play off B, but lost it against IFK Berga with 8-9. Ale United comes from Nödinge which lies approximately 17 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nödinge does also provide 69 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Kode IF, Älvsborg FF, Holmalunds IF, FC Amhult, Tuve FF, Mossens BK, Lekstorps IF, Jitex BK, Askims IK and Öckerö IF).
