Göteborgs DFF

Göteborgs DFF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Göteborgs DFF, 83 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Göteborgs DFF could be found in Group 14 together with FC Angeln 02, Valur and IF Brommapojkarna. Göteborgs DFF made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 14. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Vaksala SK with 1-2. Thereby Göteborgs DFF finished second in G17 Play off A during Gothia Cup 2014. Göteborgs DFF also participated in Girls 17 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/16 Final in G17 Play off A, but lost it against Lancashire Schools FA with 6-7. Göteborgs DFF originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Kode IF, Älvsborg FF, Holmalunds IF, FC Amhult, Tuve FF, Mossens BK, Lekstorps IF, Jitex BK, Askims IK and Tölö FF).
