Skrea IF

Skrea IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Skrea IF, 51 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Skrea IF could be found in Group 5 together with Djurgården IF FF, Ellerau, SC and San Francisco Vikings Ravens Red. Skrea IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Futura, FC with 2-4. In the Final, AIK FF won over Greve Fodbold and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 13. Skrea IF also participated in Girls 12 during Gothia Cup 2013. They reached the 1/8 Final in G12 Play off A, but lost it against Oulu Nice Soccer with 0-2. Skrea comes from Falkenberg which lies approximately 100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Falkenberg does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (IF Warta, Centern, IF, Varbergs GIF FK, IS Halmia, IF Böljan and Halmstads BK).
