Hönö/Björkö/Öckerö

Hönö/Björkö/Öckerö was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Hönö/Björkö/Öckerö, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Hönö/Björkö/Öckerö could be found in Group 21 together with Austin Lonestars, Umeå Södra FF and Bk Höllviken 2. Hönö/Björkö/Öckerö continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against LB07 with 1-2. In the Final, LB07 won over Eskilstuna United DFF and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Hönö/Björkö/Öckerö originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 68 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Among others: Älvsborg FF, Onsala BK, FC Amhult, Tuve FF, Mossens BK, Lekstorps IF, Jitex BK, Askims IK, Tölö FF and Öckerö IF).
