Svartbjörnsbyns IF

Svartbjörnsbyns IF was one of 420 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2014. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Svartbjörnsbyns IF, 124 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Svartbjörnsbyns IF could be found in Group 17 together with Morön BK, Hammarby IF DFF 1 and Monifieth Ladies FC. Svartbjörnsbyns IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Ljusne AIK with 0-2. In the Final, Boo FF won over Lira BK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Svartbjörnsbyns comes from Boden which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Boden does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2014 (Gammelstads IF, Sunderby SK and Lira BK).
