Lärje/Angered IF

Lärje/Angered IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Lärje/Angered IF, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Lärje/Angered IF could be found in Group 18 together with Space/Ordin, Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club, Real Football Academy and IFK Uppsala. Lärje/Angered IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Kampala Junior Team with 0-3. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Lärje/Angered IF also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/4 Final in B18 Slutspel A, but lost it against IF Elfsborg with 3-5. Lärje/Angered comes from Box 2054, which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Box 2054, does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Hässleholms IF, FC Hessleholm, Hjärsås/Värestorp IF, Sibbhult/Glimåkra IF, IFK Knislinge, IFK Hässleholm, IFK Osby, Åsums BK, Ifö Bromölla IF and Åhus Horna BK).
