Selección RED

Selección RED was one of 11 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Selección RED, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Selección RED could be found in Group 3 together with IFK Göteborg, Eskilsminne IF and BRFC. Selección RED continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Roanoke Star Elite with 0-2. In the Final, Skiljebo SK won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Selección RED comes from Privada Avila No. 218 Casa 9 Fraccionamiento Arroyo El Molino which lies approximately 8800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Selección RED, the club Cantolao, AD does also originate from the area around Privada Avila No. 218 Casa 9 Fraccionamiento Arroyo El Molino.
