Pieve Ligure

Pieve Ligure was one of 9 clubs from Italy that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Pieve Ligure, 122 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof Pieve Ligure could be found in Group 16 together with AIK FF, IF Warta 1 and SG Elmendorf/Gristede/Bad Zwischenahn. Pieve Ligure continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FK Lillehammer 1 with 0-2. In the Final, SK Sprint-Jeløy won over E.F. Santos Lala and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Pieve Ligure comes from genoa which lies approximately 1500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
