Åhus Horna BK

Åhus Horna BK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Åhus Horna BK, 176 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Åhus Horna BK could be found in Group 36 together with BSV Kickers Emden, Austin Lonestars 98B Howard and Storfors AIK. Åhus Horna BK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 36. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Barnes Eagles with 7-8. In the Final, Karlslunds IF HFK won over Emmaboda Komb. and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Åhus Horna comes from Åhus which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Åhus does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Hjärsås/Värestorp IF, Sibbhult/Glimåkra IF, IFK Knislinge, Mjällby AIF, Åsums BK, Ifö Bromölla IF and Lärje/Angered IF).
