IK Frej Täby

IK Frej Täby was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to IK Frej Täby, 76 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 19 different groups, whereof IK Frej Täby could be found in Group 14 together with Skarnes IL, TSV Altenholz and Lancashire Schools FA. IK Frej Täby continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ranrike ALS with 1-2. In the Final, Ranrike ALS won over Lillån FK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Frej Täby comes from Täby which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Täby does also provide 54 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: AIK FF, Bollstanäs SK, Mälarhöjdens IK, Djurgården IF DFF, Boo FF, Djurgårdens IF, Hammarby IF, Karlbergs BK, Segeltorps IF and Spårvägens FF).
