Alvesta/Gransholm

Alvesta/Gransholm was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Alvesta/Gransholm, 176 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Alvesta/Gransholm could be found in Group 31 together with Trosa-Vagnhärad SK, Oppsal IF 1 and Barnes Eagles. Alvesta/Gransholm continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 31. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against BK Häcken with 7-8. In the Final, Club América won over J-L Juniors and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Alvesta/Gransholm comes from Alvesta/Gemla which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Alvesta/Gemla does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Växjö Norra IF, Sandsbro AIK, Ingelstad IK and Alvesta GIF).
