Illinois FC

Illinois FC was one of 34 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Illinois FC, 176 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Illinois FC could be found in Group 28 together with Mölnlycke IF Gul, Bollstanäs SK 2 and Esporte Uniao. Illinois FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Karlslunds IF HFK with 0-3. In the Final, Karlslunds IF HFK won over Emmaboda Komb. and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Illinois FC comes from Illinoise which lies approximately 6900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
