Åsums BK

Åsums BK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Åsums BK, 176 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Åsums BK could be found in Group 30 together with Austin Lonestars 98B Dempsey, IF Böljan and SK Djerv 1919. Åsums BK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against BK Häcken with 0-4. In the Final, Club América won over J-L Juniors and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Åsums comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kristianstad does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Hässleholms IF, FC Hessleholm, Hjärsås/Värestorp IF, Sibbhult/Glimåkra IF, IFK Knislinge, IFK Hässleholm, Hörby FF, Mjällby AIF, Ifö Bromölla IF and Åhus Horna BK).
