SF Ippendorf

SF Ippendorf was one of 67 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to SF Ippendorf, 164 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof SF Ippendorf could be found in Group 16 together with WRY, Balltorps FF 1 and Shakti Sports Academy. SF Ippendorf continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Örgryte IS 2 with 2-7. In the Final, KF Gjakova won over Halmstads BK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. SF Ippendorf also participated in Boys 11 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/8 Final in B11 Slutspel B, but lost it against Mölnlycke IF with 1-4. SF Ippendorf comes from Bonn-Ippendorf which lies approximately 840 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than SF Ippendorf, the club FV Rot Weiß Erpel 1919 e.V. does also originate from the area around Bonn-Ippendorf.
