SC Sperber

SC Sperber was one of 67 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to SC Sperber, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof SC Sperber could be found in Group 42 together with Jyllinge FC, Onsala BK and SK Sprint-Jeløy 1. SC Sperber continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 42. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Fässbergs IF with 1-3. In the Final, Skiljebo SK won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. SC Sperber also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/64 Final in B15 Slutspel A, but lost it against Montrouge FC 92 with 0-4. Sperber comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: FC St. Pauli Hamburg, SV Blankenese, SV Rugenbergen, FC Este 2012, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld, Kaltenkirchen TS, Walddörfer SV, TSV Buchholz 08, Ellerau, SC and Halstenbek-Rellingen SV).
