Ingelstad IK

Ingelstad IK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 19. In addition to Ingelstad IK, 28 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 19. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Ingelstad IK could be found in Group 1 together with Karanba, Lyngdal IL and Sunderby SK. Ingelstad IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Eskilsminne DIF with 0-4. In the Final, Vancouver Whitecaps won over Hovås-Billdal IF /Billdals BK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 19. Ingelstad comes from Ingelstad which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ingelstad does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Växjö Norra IF, Sandsbro AIK, Alvesta GIF and Alvesta/Gransholm).
