Mönsterås GoIF

Mönsterås GoIF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Mönsterås GoIF, 87 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Mönsterås GoIF could be found in Group 6 together with Rsf Attack, Linköping Kenty DFF and Vaksala SK. Mönsterås GoIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Sollentuna FK with 0-2. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 99G Solo won over Upsala IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Mönsterås GoIF comes from Mönsterås which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Mönsterås does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Högsby IK, Lindsdal IF and IFK Berga).
