Torns IF

Torns IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Torns IF, 182 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof Torns IF could be found in Group 24 together with Csv de Leeuwarder Zwaluwen, Hisingsbacka FC and FK Bodø Glimt. Torns IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against IFK Uppsala Vit with 0-1. In the Final, Sleipner, IK won over IF Brommapojkarna 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Torns comes from Lund which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: LB07, Fortuna FF, Borgeby FK, Husie IF, GIF Nike, Veberöds AIF, Viridis Skurup FC, Billesholms IK, IF Lödde and Ljungbyheds IF).
