Kongsvinger IL

Kongsvinger IL was one of 55 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Kongsvinger IL, 87 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Kongsvinger IL could be found in Group 17 together with AIK FF 2, FC Hessleholm and Hönö/Björkö. Kongsvinger IL continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Upsala IF with 1-2. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 99G Solo won over Upsala IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Kongsvinger comes from Nedre badstuvegen 5 which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nedre badstuvegen 5 does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Sander IL, IF Örnen and Skarnes IL).
