Xghajra Tornados FC

Xghajra Tornados FC was the only club from Malta that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Xghajra Tornados FC, 134 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Xghajra Tornados FC could be found in Group 19 together with Norrby IF, Elite Football FC and SpVgg Kickers 16. Xghajra Tornados FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against FC Neumünster Zürich with 0-3. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over FC Rueil Malmaison and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Xghajra Tornados FC comes from Xghajra which lies approximately 2400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
