AB Tårnby

AB Tårnby was one of 12 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to AB Tårnby, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof AB Tårnby could be found in Group 10 together with Vellinge IF, Linköping Kenty DFF and Säters IF. AB Tårnby continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against St. Paul Blackhawks 1 with 0-2. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 98G Morgan won over BK Farum and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. AB Tårnby comes from Tårnby, Copenhagen which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tårnby, Copenhagen does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: LB07, Borgeby FK, Husie IF, Lyngby Boldklub, BK Höllvikens, BK Farum, GIF Nike, IF Lödde, Staffanstorps GIF and Uppåkra IF).
