Gilleby/Stala Orust FC

Gilleby/Stala Orust FC was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 19. In addition to Gilleby/Stala Orust FC, 28 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 19. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Gilleby/Stala Orust FC could be found in Group 7 together with Northern Indiana, Kungsbacka DFF and Runar, IL. Gilleby/Stala Orust FC continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Gasteizko Neskak with 1-4. In the Final, Lyngdal IL won over Gasteizko Neskak and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 19. Gilleby/Stala Orust FC comes from Varekil which lies approximately 47 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Varekil does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Stenungsunds IF, Ale United, Orust GHMMS, IK Oddevold, Vallens IF, Ranrike ALS, Skoftebyns IF, IFK Valla, Herrestads AIF and Ljungskile SK).
