FC Spilamberto

FC Spilamberto was one of 9 clubs from Italy that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to FC Spilamberto, 164 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof FC Spilamberto could be found in Group 30 together with Csv de Leeuwarder Zwaluwen, Lerums IS Lila and Torsås GoIF. FC Spilamberto continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ekerö IK 1 with 2-6. In the Final, Shilla FC 1 won over JSSL Arsenal Singapore and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. FC Spilamberto comes from SPILAMBERTO which lies approximately 1500 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than FC Spilamberto, the club Virtus Cibeno ASD does also originate from the area around SPILAMBERTO.
