IF Eker

IF Eker was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to IF Eker, 122 other teams from 24 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof IF Eker could be found in Group 29 together with Javan Hawk Academy, KSV Klein-Karben and Kungsbacka IF. IF Eker continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 29. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Tölö IF with 6-7. In the Final, SK Sprint-Jeløy won over E.F. Santos Lala and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Eker comes from Örebro which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Örebro does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Rynninge IK, Yxhults IK, Sköllersta IF, IF Eker Örebro, Karlslunds IF HFK, KIF Örebro DFF and Lillån FK).
