Genarps IF/Dalby GIF

Genarps IF/Dalby GIF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Genarps IF/Dalby GIF, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Genarps IF/Dalby GIF could be found in Group 27 together with IFK Nyköping, Lira BK 1 and Swindon Town FITC. Genarps IF/Dalby GIF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against BK Farum with 0-5. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 98G Morgan won over BK Farum and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Genarps IF/Dalby GIF also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/8 Final in G14 Slutspel B, but lost it against Rävåsens IK with 0-2. Genarps IF/Dalby GIF comes from Dalby och Genarp which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dalby och Genarp does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: LB07, Öja FF, Borgeby FK, Husie IF, BK Höllvikens, GIF Nike, Veberöds AIF, Viridis Skurup FC, IF Lödde and Trelleborgs FF).
