Rödeby AIF

Rödeby AIF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Rödeby AIF, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Rödeby AIF could be found in Group 17 together with Young Guns FA, Vaksala SK and Beirut FAC. Rödeby AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Huddinge IF with 0-4. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over Consadole Sapporo and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Rödeby AIF also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/16 Final in B15 Slutspel A, but lost it against IF Elfsborg with 1-4. Rödeby AIF comes from Rödeby which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Rödeby does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Torsås GoIF, Kristianopels GOIF, Karlskrona FF, Nättraby GoIF and FK Karlskrona).
