Motala AIF

Motala AIF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Motala AIF, 164 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Motala AIF could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Valla, Östansbo IS and International School of Kenya. Motala AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kungsladugårds BK with 6-7. In the Final, KF Gjakova won over Halmstads BK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Motala AIF comes from Motala which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Motala does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Mjölby AI/FF, Linköping Kenty DFF, Boxholm IF, Mjölby Södra IF, Vadstena GIF and Hjulsbro IK).
