Waggeryds IK

Waggeryds IK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Waggeryds IK, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Waggeryds IK could be found in Group 12 together with Hismais E-Ö, IFK Mariehamn and Skanör-Falsterbo IF. Waggeryds IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against NSA with 1-5. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 98G Morgan won over BK Farum and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Waggeryds comes from Vaggeryd which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vaggeryd does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Husqvarna FF, Råslätts SK, Jönköpings Södra IF, Husqvarna FF Female, Husqvarna FF 1 and Husqvarna FF 2).
