Herrestads AIF

Herrestads AIF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Herrestads AIF, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Herrestads AIF could be found in Group 24 together with KF Vizioni, The International School Banglore and SG Schledehausen/TSV Osnabrück 1. Herrestads AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hultsfreds FK /SK Lojal with 2-4. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Herrestads AIF comes from Uddevalla which lies approximately 68 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uddevalla does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Halvorstorps IS, Stenungsunds IF, Orust GHMMS, IK Oddevold, Vallens IF, Färgelanda IF, Skoftebyns IF, IFK Trollhättan, IFK Valla and Ljungskile SK).
