Mariehem SK

Mariehem SK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Mariehem SK, 87 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Mariehem SK could be found in Group 13 together with Upsala IF, BK Höllviken and Hovås-Billdal IF. Mariehem SK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Boxholm IF with 4-5. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 99G Solo won over Upsala IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Mariehem SK comes from Umeå which lies approximately 820 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Umeå does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Umedalens IF, Ersmarks IK, Hörnefors IF, IFK Umeå, Sörfors IF, Sandåkerns Sörfors SK, Tegs SK, Sandviks IK, Umeå Södra FF and Gimonäs Umeå IF).
