Unik FK

Unik FK was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Unik FK, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Unik FK could be found in Group 35 together with Brage, IK, Helsingfors IFK, FC, SK Djerv 1919 and TSV Buchholz 08. Unik FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Lobatos Foot with 1-3. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over Consadole Sapporo and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Unik FK comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: IF VP Uppsala, Sigtuna IF, Vaksala SK, Bälinge IF, Storvreta IK, EIS/Åsunda IF, IFK Uppsala, Upsala IF, Märsta IK and Sunnersta AIF).
