Veberöds AIF

Veberöds AIF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Veberöds AIF, 122 other teams from 24 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof Veberöds AIF could be found in Group 6 together with La Herradura AC, GAIS and Västerås IK Gul. Veberöds AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against KL Youth Soccer with 1-2. In the Final, IFK Stocksund won over CEF 18 Tucuman and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Veberöds AIF comes from Veberöd which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Veberöd does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: LB07, Öja FF, Borgeby FK, Husie IF, GIF Nike, Viridis Skurup FC, IF Lödde, Trelleborgs FF, Staffanstorps GIF and Uppåkra IF).
