HooGee

HooGee was one of 15 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to HooGee, 87 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof HooGee could be found in Group 20 together with Njurunda IK, Hörby FF and Sunderby SK. HooGee continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Nyköping with 0-2. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 99G Solo won over Upsala IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. HooGee comes from Esbo which lies approximately 770 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Esbo does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Special Olympics Finland,, Helsingfors IFK, FC, HJK Helsinki, FC Honka, NuPS/FC WILD YJ, PK-35, Tikkurilan Palloseura, FC Viikingit and Pajämäki).
