Skoftebyns IF

Skoftebyns IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Skoftebyns IF, 122 other teams from 24 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 30 different groups, whereof Skoftebyns IF could be found in Group 9 together with GRUPO SHERWOOD, Azalea BK and First Touch FC. Skoftebyns IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against CEF 18 Tucuman with 2-3. In the Final, IFK Stocksund won over CEF 18 Tucuman and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Skoftebyns comes from Trollhättan which lies approximately 61 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trollhättan does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Halvorstorps IS, Stenungsunds IF, Orust GHMMS, IK Oddevold, Vallens IF, Färgelanda IF, Ranrike ALS, IFK Trollhättan, IFK Valla and Herrestads AIF).
