Eskilsminne DIF

Eskilsminne DIF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 19. In addition to Eskilsminne DIF, 28 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 19. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Eskilsminne DIF could be found in Group 4 together with Qviding FIF, Roadrunner United Futbol Club and FK Fjellhamar. Eskilsminne DIF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Vancouver Whitecaps with 0-2. In the Final, Vancouver Whitecaps won over Hovås-Billdal IF /Billdals BK and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 19. Eskilsminne DIF comes from Helsingborg which lies approximately 200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Helsingborg does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Höganäs BK, Fortuna FF, Borgeby FK, Helsingborgs IF, Lyngby Boldklub, BK Farum, Billesholms IK, IF Lödde, Ljungbyheds IF and Kullabygdens DFF).
