Kronängs IF

Kronängs IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Kronängs IF, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Kronängs IF could be found in Group 20 together with Heath & Regents Park FC, Boo FF and Space/Ordin. Kronängs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against JSSL Arsenal Singapore with 1-4. In the Final, Skiljebo SK won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Kronängs comes from Borås which lies approximately 60 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borås does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Bergdalens IK, Gerdskens BK, IFK Örby, IF Elfsborg, Sandared/Sjömarkens IF, Alingsås KIK, Tranemo IF, Fristad GoIF/Sparsörs AIK/Borgstena IF, Brämhults IK and Kinna IF).
