Tranemo IF

Tranemo IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Tranemo IF, 176 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Tranemo IF could be found in Group 11 together with US Chantilly, Näsets SK and MTV Treubund Lüneburg 1. Tranemo IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Märsta IK with 0-1. In the Final, Skiljebo SK won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Tranemo comes from Tranemo which lies approximately 87 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tranemo does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Bergdalens IK, IFK Örby, IF Elfsborg, Kronängs IF, Brämhults IK, Sjömarkens IF, Tvärred/Vegby, Ulricehamns IFK, Limmareds IF and Dalstorps IF).
