Sigtuna IF

Sigtuna IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Sigtuna IF, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Sigtuna IF could be found in Group 25 together with KF Gjakova 2, SC Sternschanze and Oppsal IF. Sigtuna IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Torslanda IK with 0-2. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Sigtuna comes from Sigtuna which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sigtuna does also provide 42 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: AIK FF, Bollstanäs SK, Mälarhöjdens IK, Djurgården IF DFF, Djurgårdens IF, IF VP Uppsala, Karlbergs BK, Al-azhar IF, IF Brommapojkarna and Täby United).
