Göteborgs FF

Göteborgs FF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Göteborgs FF, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Göteborgs FF could be found in Group 14 together with City Sport, IF VP Uppsala and BRFC. Göteborgs FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Sandviks IK with 0-1. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Göteborgs FF also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/64 Final in B18 Slutspel A, but lost it against Vake-WIT with 3-4. Göteborgs originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 61 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Balltorps FF, FC Amhult, Kållered SK, Mölndal Fotboll, Hovås-Billdal IF, IK Zenith, Öckerö IF, Qviding FIF, Särö IK and Partille IF).
