Rapid Bukarest was one of two clubs from Romania that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Rapid Bukarest, 176 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Rapid Bukarest could be found in Group 37 together with Jokkmokks SK, Strømmen IF and FK Bromma. Rapid Bukarest continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 37. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against KF Besa-Peja with 0-4. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over Consadole Sapporo and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Rapid Bukarest also participated in Boys 15 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the 1/32 Final in B15 Slutspel B, but lost it against SC Sternschanze with 3-4. Rapid Bukarest comes from Str. Raditei 51, Zector 5 which lies approximately 1800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Rapid Bukarest, the club ACS May-Day Sport does also originate from the area around Str. Raditei 51, Zector 5.
