Arna-Bjørnar

Arna-Bjørnar was one of 55 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Arna-Bjørnar, 76 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 19 different groups, whereof Arna-Bjørnar could be found in Group 16 together with PK-35, Ranrike ALS and Tindastoll. Arna-Bjørnar continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against LB07 with 0-2. In the Final, Dakota Rev Rampage won over LB07 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Arna-Bjørnar comes from BERGEN which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around BERGEN does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Fyllingsdalen FK, Os TF, Kalandseid IL, Frøya IL and Gneist Fotball).
