Gruner Fotball

Gruner Fotball was one of 55 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Gruner Fotball, 176 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 44 different groups, whereof Gruner Fotball could be found in Group 24 together with F.C. Martignas Illac 1, Elite Football FC and Valsta Syrianska IK 1. Gruner Fotball continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Gunnilse IS with 0-3. In the Final, Club América won over J-L Juniors and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Gruner Fotball comes from Oslo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oslo does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Skjetten SK, Gjelleråsen IF, Nittedal IL, Nesodden IF, Strømmen IF, Strømsgodset IF, Lørenskog IF, Oppsal IF, Lillestrøm SK and Hauger FK).
