Färgelanda IF

Färgelanda IF was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Färgelanda IF, 134 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 33 different groups, whereof Färgelanda IF could be found in Group 21 together with Rio FC, Csv de Leeuwarder Zwaluwen and Strands IF. Färgelanda IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Os TF with 0-3. In the Final, Kampala Junior Team won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Färgelanda comes from Färgelanda which lies approximately 92 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Färgelanda does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Halvorstorps IS, IK Oddevold, Skoftebyns IF, IFK Trollhättan, Herrestads AIF, Trollhättans IF, Melleruds IF and IF Änglarna).
