FC Wiesharde

FC Wiesharde was one of 67 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to FC Wiesharde, 164 other teams from 37 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof FC Wiesharde could be found in Group 24 together with Senlis, U.S.M. 1, Trollhättans IF and Azalea BK 2. FC Wiesharde continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Trelleborgs FF with 0-2. In the Final, KF Gjakova won over Halmstads BK and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. FC Wiesharde comes from Handewitt which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Handewitt does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Frisia 03, SV and TSV Drelsdorf-Ahrenshöft-Bohmstedt).
