FC America

FC America was one of 34 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to FC America, 182 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 45 different groups, whereof FC America could be found in Group 20 together with Södra Sandby IF, Sandarna BK and USC Paloma Hamburg. FC America continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Benson Soccer with 0-2. In the Final, Sleipner, IK won over IF Brommapojkarna 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. FC America comes from 825 Courtland Street which lies approximately 6400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
