Hönö/Björkö

Hönö/Björkö was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Hönö/Björkö, 87 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Hönö/Björkö could be found in Group 17 together with AIK FF 2, FC Hessleholm and Kongsvinger IL. Hönö/Björkö continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AIK FF 1 with 0-3. In the Final, AIK FF 1 won over Benson Soccer and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Hönö/Björkö also participated in Girls 13 during Gothia Cup 2012. They reached the Semi final in G13 Slutspel B, but lost it against Kullabygdens DFF with 0-1. Hönö/Björkö comes from Skärgården.. which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
