Halvorstorps IS

Halvorstorps IS was one of 395 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2013. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Halvorstorps IS, 87 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Halvorstorps IS could be found in Group 14 together with Huddinge IF, Snöstorp/Nyhem FF and IK Grand Bodø. Halvorstorps IS continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Hittarps IK with 0-4. In the Final, Austin Lonestars 99G Solo won over Upsala IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Halvorstorps IS comes from Trollhättan which lies approximately 64 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trollhättan does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2013 (Among others: Stenungsunds IF, Orust GHMMS, IK Oddevold, Vara SK, Färgelanda IF, Ranrike ALS, Skoftebyns IF, IFK Trollhättan, Herrestads AIF and Ljungskile SK).
