Öjersjö IF

Öjersjö IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Öjersjö IF, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Öjersjö IF could be found in Group 38 together with Sandåkerns SK 2, Club Aba Sport and IFK Uddevalla. Öjersjö IF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 38. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Chivas Guadalajara with 0-11. In the Final, Chivas Guadalajara won over Fyllingsdalen FK 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 14. Öjersjö comes from Öjersjö which lies approximately 12 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Öjersjö does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Lerums IS, IF Väster, Näsets SK, Finlandia-Pallo IF , Södra Skärgården IK, Landvetter IF, BK Bifrost, Tölö IF, Kungsbacka IF and Fässbergs IF).
