Cubs Football Academy

Cubs Football Academy was one of 6 clubs from Lebanon that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Cubs Football Academy, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Cubs Football Academy could be found in Group 16 together with San Diego Football Academy, Lärje/Angered IF and Tobo/Örbyhus FF. Cubs Football Academy continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Tjust IF FF with 1-5. In the Final, Staffanstorps GIF won over First Touch FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 15. Cubs Football Academy comes from 6452 Beirut which lies approximately 3200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 6452 Beirut does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Beirut FAC, F.C. Beirut, FAME, Tyre FA and International College).
